Location
The Energy Technology Engineering Center (ETEC) and is located at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL) in eastern Ventura County, California near the crest of the Simi Hills at the Western border of the San Fernando Valley. The site also borders Los Angeles County to the east. These areas surrounding SSFL consists mostly of parks, open space, and private property with agricultural, residential, and recreational land uses.
