The ETEC is closed and site restoration is underway. The DOE is committed to completing the ETEC closure project and communicating with our neighbors and others about what we are doing. We will continue to add more information to this website about the history, past operations, previous cleanup efforts, and future cleanup efforts at ETEC. Boeing Issues Offsite Report

On December 14, 2007, Boeing issued the Offsite Data Evaluation Report for the Santa Susana Field Laboratory in compliance with the Consent Order for Corrective Action.

EPA Announces its Intent to List SSFL on the NPL

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recommended to Governor Schwarzenegger that the Santa Susana Field Laboratory be listed on the National Priorities List, thus making SSFL a Superfund site.

DOE issues contract for Area IV EIS

The US Department of Energy has awarded a contract to CDM of Chantilly, Virginia to conduct an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Area IV of the Santa Susana Fied Laboratory.
